Lumina Interface

Lumina is a next-generation financial dashboard designed for high-frequency traders who need clarity amidst chaos. The goal was to reduce cognitive load while displaying real-time data streams.

Lumina needed to transform complex, real-time financial data into an interface that was intuitive for non-expert users while retaining the depth required by day traders. The existing system was cluttered, slow, and lacked mobile responsiveness. Users reported eye fatigue after prolonged usage due to poor contrast ratios.

We created a modular component library based on atomic design principles. By utilizing high-contrast typography and a strict grid system, we reduced cognitive load. The new dashboard allows users to customize their workspace, resulting in a 40% increase in user engagement time. We also implemented a dark mode specifically tuned for low-light trading environments.
